The Junior Account Manager / Trainee Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of around 25 accounts. You will be responsible for document and policy issue, preparation of renewal reports, broking of existing and new business, liaising with our insurer partners and lots more. Our client will encourage and fund continued study to ACII level or higher.

Salary: £18K
Benefits: Also on offer is a 10% non-contributory pension, private health insurance, permanent heath insurance and a season ticket loan scheme, all of which will be available after a 6 month probationary period. Up to 25 days holiday allowance is offered
You may have experience in the following roles: Account Manager, Junior Account Manager / Trainee Account Manager, Insurance Broker, Corporate Insurance Broker, Insurance Sales Executive, Financial Services Sales Executive, Banking etc
CLIENT:
Our client is a successful, fast growing business specialising in providing insurance and risk management solutions to the social housing sector. Based in the centre of Chelmsford, our client has been trading for just over 3 years, has a turnover of around £4.6m and employs 28 people.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Previous experience of working as a Trainee within a broker or insurer and be ready to take on a significant portfolio of your own.
b) Able to manage your own time and workloads.
c) Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
d) Excellent report writing capabilities.
e) Presentation skills.
f) A high level of technical insurance abilities.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience in housing association or other public sector business is not essential but will be an advantage.
b) Similarly insurance qualifications (or part qualifications) will be an advantage and our client will encourage and fund continued study to ACII level or higher.
